We have continued to reflect on the latest government advice and how it is impacting not just us at Brigg Marina but the whole travel industry. This advice being that we should all be practising social distancing and avoiding any non-essential travel. Beyond this we have listened to many of you, the local community and also received information from other supporting associations that are helping to guide and steer us through these extraordinary circumstances.
Based on this advice as it stands today, it is with a heavy heart that we must now temporarily close our Park for the foreseeable future. We will not be accepting any new guest arrivals from Monday 23rd 2020 and the parks will be closing shortly thereafter.
We know how disappointing this will be for many customers, who despite the current circumstances, still felt they were able to be safe and travel, but now is the time for us to take this advice and act decisively.
Hoeseasons will be contacting everyone who has a break booked with us, working in 4-week periods to discuss your planned break and agree next steps. Please do not call us, Hoeseasons will call you. This will, as you can imagine, take time, so please bear with them.
Hoeseasons are not accepting any new bookings for dates earlier than Thursday 4th June at this stage and are cancelling or rearranging holidays for the next four weeks, as a minimum, but we must be prepared for this to extend further. We hope you understand. The wellbeing of our team, owners, residents, guests and holidaymakers has to be our number one priority.
Take care of yourselves, thank you for your support and let’s hope we can welcome you all back on our Park very soon.
With warm regards,
Directors Brigg Marina Ltd
